Dam on the San Bernard River

The Salt Barrier Dam is a Small dam near West Columbia on the San Bernard River
about 1 mile north of Highway 35.

The purpose of the Salt Barrier Dam is to prevent salt from the Gulf tides from reaching the upper levels of the river where it is used for water supply.
